The HR Specialist is responsible for supporting and implementing various Human Resources programs and activities, particularly in Recruitment, Training and Development, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Employee Discipline, and Timekeeping/Attendance Management.
The position serves as a key support role of the HR Department in ensuring that employees are properly recruited, onboarded, trained, monitored, engaged, and managed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable labor regulations.
The HR Specialist is expected to maintain accurate employee records, provide timely HR support to employees and supervisors, assist in resolving employee concerns, and ensure the proper implementation of HR policies and programs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition – sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Training & Development – coordinating training programs and maintaining training records
- Performance Management – monitoring performance evaluations, KPIs/KRAs, and performance-related documentation
- Employee Engagement – assisting in employee activities, engagement programs, and employee relations
- Employee Discipline – assisting in documentation and monitoring of employee cases and policy violations
- Timekeeping & Attendance – monitoring attendance, tardiness, leave, overtime, and timekeeping records
- HR Administration – maintaining employee records, preparing HR reports, and supporting HR policies and programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- At least 1 year of relevant HR experience
- Experience in recruitment, training, performance management, employee relations, discipline, or timekeeping is an advantage
- Good knowledge of basic HR practices and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information

Technical Skills
- Knowledge of basic HR processes and practices.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
