Job summary

SUAREZ BROTHERS METAL ARTS, INC. in Cebu City is seeking a seasoned HR Manager to lead HR programs and ensure regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment.

You will drive performance management, employee relations, and training initiatives while coordinating with management on manpower planning and organizational development. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in HR are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business or related field.
• 5+ years in HR with supervisory or managerial exposure, preferably in manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws and DOLE regulations.
• Experience in employee relations, performance management, and training.
• Proficient with HRIS/payroll systems and MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Willing to work Monday-Friday in a compressed work week.

Responsibilities

• Implement and update HR policies, procedures, and handbook.
• Develop and implement performance management and appraisal programs; coordinate training.
• Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary cases, and investigations.
• Coordinate manpower planning and organizational development with management.
• Prepare HR, manpower, turnover, and attendance reports.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate HR staff for efficient service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Preferably with 5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial
• Position with experience in a manufacturing or unionized environment.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws and DOLE regulations.
• Knowledge of employee relations, performance management, training and disciplinary procedures.
• Experience in handling labor disputes, grievances, NTEs, administrative investigations, and employee discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and HRIS or payroll systems.
• Must be willing to work Monday-Friday, in a compressed work week schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
