Orro Home is seeking an HR Manager to oversee all HR operations, policy implementation, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance within the Philippines. The role requires a hands-on leader capable of strategic HR initiatives and daily operations.
The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, with deep knowledge of Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations.
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall Human Resources operations, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, recruitment strategies, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on HR professional with strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills who can manage both strategic HR initiatives and day‑to‑day HR operations.
Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Human Resources Department and develop, implement, and improve HR policies, procedures, and processes
Lead the overall recruitment and selection process, develop effective sourcing strategies, and oversee applicant screening, interviews, assessments, job offers, and onboarding
Handle employee concerns, complaints, grievances, and workplace conflicts, and conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions for employee‑related cases
Oversee the implementation of employee performance evaluation programs and develop performance improvement plans when necessary
Coordinate with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation and benefits
Ensure HR policies and practices comply with applicable Philippine labor laws and regulations and monitor compliance with DOLE requirements
Identify employee training and development needs and coordinate and implement training programs and employee development initiatives
Develop initiatives that improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention and conduct employee engagement activities, surveys, and feedback sessions
Prepare regular HR reports for management and monitor key HR metrics including headcount, turnover rate, absenteeism rate, time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, and recruitment conversion rate
Lead, coach, and supervise HR personnel and assign tasks and monitor the performance of HR team members
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
At least 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with supervisory or managerial experience
Strong experience in HR Operations, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and Labor Relations
Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations
Experience in handling employee disciplinary cases and workplace concerns
Strong leadership and people‑management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
