Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations, develop policies, and ensure legal compliance across DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, and employee relations in a construction industry context.
The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of HR experience, supervisory background, strong Excel skills, and a track record of confidentiality, organization, and effective communication.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferably with 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial position
Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws, DOLE regulations, and government-mandated benefits
Knowledge of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other government compliance requirements
Strong understanding of recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and performance management
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
Licensed/Certified HR professional is an advantage
Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies, programs, and procedures
Lead the overall HR operations of the company
Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and manpower planning
Oversee employee attendance, leave administration, and personnel records
Manage compensation and benefits and coordinate payroll-related HR matters
Ensure compliance with DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other government requirements
Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary cases, and workplace concerns
Prepare and review employee memoranda, notices, contracts, and HR documents
Ensure proper implementation of company rules and regulations
Develop and implement employee engagement, training, and development programs
Manage performance appraisal and employee evaluation processes
Monitor employee turnover and recommend retention strategies
Provide HR reports and recommendations to management
Ensure proper maintenance and confidentiality of employee records
Coordinate with project/site management regarding manpower requirements and employee concerns
Conduct HR orientations and ensure employees understand company policies
Perform other HR-related duties as may be assigned by Management
