Spica Distribution International Inc. is seeking an experienced HR professional to lead our human resources function in Metro Manila.
The role oversees recruitment, onboarding, timekeeping, payroll coordination, compensation, benefits, and employee relations, while guiding policy updates and process improvements. You will supervise HR staff, monitor KPIs, maintain HRIS data integrity, and provide timely payroll and benefits support.
Submit statutory reports and government-mandated documents accurately and on time.
Monitor compliance with labor laws, company policies, and government regulations.
Fill approved manpower requisitions within agreed turnaround time (TAT).
Maintain and update applicant tracking system and candidate database.
Ensure complete onboarding requirements prior to employee start date.
Validate and finalize attendance, overtime, and leave records prior to payroll cut-off.
Resolve timekeeping discrepancies within prescribed timeline.
Process salary adjustments, benefit enrollments, and deductions accurately.
Prepare documentation required for internal/external audits.
Conduct performance check-ins and provide coaching to C&B staff.
Monitor team deliverables against departmental KPIs
Develop, review, and revise HR policies, SOPs. and Handbook
Recommend HR process improvements
Maintain accurate and updated employee records in HRIS.
Manage user access and system updates.
Submit HR dashboards and complete assigned HR projects
Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, and timekeeping.
Facilitate employee concern resolution related to compensation and attendance.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field, with 4–5 years of relevant HR experience and at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, statutory requirements, and HR policies.
Hands‑on experience in recruitment, timekeeping, payroll coordination, compensation and benefits, and employee relations.
Proficient in HRIS, MS Office/Excel, HR reporting, and data analysis, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, with the ability to coach staff and manage multiple HR priorities.
