Responsibilities

  • Manage employee and labor relations, including employee concerns, grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Provide HR guidance and support to management and department heads on employee and people-related matters.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs based on organizational and employee needs.
  • Lead employee engagement activities, company events, recognition programs, and initiatives that promote employee morale and workplace culture.
  • Support organizational development initiatives, including performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, and process improvement.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs in line with company objectives and applicable labor laws.
  • Monitor employee performance and support managers in coaching, development, and performance improvement.
  • Prepare HR reports, analyze workforce data, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Ensure the effective, fair, and confidential delivery of HR services and maintain compliance with applicable employment regulations.

About the role

This is a Human Resources role focused on managing employee and labor relations, providing HR guidance to management, and supporting organizational development initiatives.


Key responsibilities


  • Manage employee and labor relations, including employee concerns, grievances, disciplinary matters, investigations, and conflict resolution

  • Provide HR guidance and support to management and department heads on employee and people-related matters

  • Support organizational development initiatives, including performance management, competency development, workforce planning, succession planning, and process improvement

  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs in line with company objectives and applicable labor laws

  • Monitor employee performance and support managers in coaching, development, and performance improvement

  • Prepare HR reports, analyze workforce data, and provide recommendations to management

  • Ensure the effective, fair, and confidential delivery of HR services and maintain compliance with applicable employment regulations


Qualifications


  • Hotel experience is preferred but not required (2 years experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Relevant experience in Human Resources, particularly in employee/labor relations, training and development, employee engagement, or organizational development

  • Good working knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR policies, and employment practices

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills

  • Ability to work effectively with employees, supervisors, managers, and external partners

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with professionalism and sound judgment

  • Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple HR programs and priorities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR-related systems/tools

  • Experience in a leadership, supervisory, or people-management role is an advantage
