Supersam is seeking an HR Specialist (Compensation and Benefits) to manage daily timekeeping, attendance, and benefits for our F&B operations. You will verify logs, handle payroll-related calculations, and liaise with store managers to resolve discrepancies.

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and flexible HR Specialist (Compensation and Benefits) to handle day-to-day timekeeping, attendance tracking, and benefits administration for our F&B operations.
In the fast-paced restaurant industry, accurate hours and timely pay keep our teams motivated. You will be responsible for keeping time records accurate, verifying shift schedules, processing employee benefits, and using Excel to cross-check timekeeping data. This is an ideal role for an organized HR professional who communicates well with diverse teams, from kitchen crew to store managers.
Review daily biometric and time log data across all branches to verify clock-ins, rest days, shift swaps, schedule changes, leaves, overtime, and official business logs to ensure complete attendance accuracy before payroll.
Check and compute F&B-specific pay variables including overtime, night differentials, holiday pay, and meal allowance deductions.
Coordinate with store managers before payroll cut-offs to resolve attendance anomalies, missing logs, and schedule disputes.
Process and assist with mandatory statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and company perks (if any).
Prepare routine pre-payroll summaries for finance/payroll processing, ensuring basic pay adjustments and incentives (if any) are accurately reflected.
Assist employees with payslip inquiries, statutory loan applications, and benefit claims in a clear, supportive manner.
Maintain clean daily attendance databases using core Excel functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIF), basic Pivot Tables, and Conditional Formatting.
Prepare recurring attendance reports, tracking branch-level absenteeism, tardiness, and overtime trends.
Keep digital HR employee files and time logs organized and audit-ready.
Adapt smoothly to shifting store schedules, peak season volume, and fast-paced payroll cut-offs.
Serve as a approachable point-of-contact for diverse branch staff, handling queries patiently and professionally across kitchen crew, front-of-house staff, and managers.
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or any related field.
1 to 2 years of experience in HR focusing on timekeeping, time logs processing, and basic compensation & benefits administration (F&B, retail, or service industry experience is a major plus)
Comfortable working with datasets, multi-criteria formulas (SUMIFS, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP), and Pivot Tables
Familiarity with HRIS, biometric timekeeping devices, or cloud-based attendance platforms.
High accuracy with numbers and a strong eye for detail.
Basic knowledge of local labor guidelines on working hours, rest days, overtime, and statutory benefits.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Patient, flexible, and capable of connecting with people from all backgrounds.
Ability to meet strict deadlines under minimal supervision.
