About the role
This is a hybrid HR and Operations role supporting our on-site teams. You will act as the operational HR partner to site supervisors and employees, ensuring that HR policies, employment terms and employee-relations matters are effectively implemented on the ground.
You will work closely with the Operations team and maintain a regular presence at our operational sites.
Key responsibilities
- Provide practical HR guidance to site supervisors and employees on employment terms, company policies and HR procedures.
- Explain employment contracts, policies, benefits and employment conditions directly to employees where clarification is required.
- Support Operations in managing employee grievances, disciplinary matters, performance concerns and workplace disputes.
- Act as the HR point of contact for site-based employees.
- Review employee attendance, lateness, absenteeism, medical leave and other attendance-related records.
- Identify irregular attendance patterns and follow up directly with employees and their respective Supervisors.
- Conduct preliminary investigations for employee misconduct and policy infractions together with Operations.
- Interview employees and relevant parties to establish facts surrounding incidents.
- Prepare counselling records, show-cause letters, warning letters and other disciplinary documentation where appropriate.
- Conduct regular site visits to understand manpower conditions and employee concerns.
- Support recruitment for mobilisation of new sites and site-based positions.
About you
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
- At least 2–4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably involving a sizeable operational or frontline workforce
- Good working knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act.
- Experience in employee relations, disciplinary matters, attendance management and HR documentation.
- Comfortable conducting preliminary investigations and handling difficult employee conversations.
- Willing to travel to operational sites and engage directly with employees.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Able to balance employee welfare, regulatory compliance and operational requirements.
- Experience in Facilities Management, Cleaning, Security, Dormitory Operations or other manpower-intensive industries will be an advantage.
