IAN SMART ENERGY CORP is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations at our Manila sites. You will drive payroll, benefits, and leave processes while ensuring compliance with Philippine laws.
You will implement engagement programs, maintain confidential HR records, support policy development, and liaise with government agencies and service providers to support workforce planning and employee development.
Manage end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing and onboarding of new employees
Administer and ensure compliance with payroll, benefits, leave management and employment regulations in accordance with Philippine labor laws
Develop and implement employee engagement programmed and initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture
Provide generalist HR support across multiple functional areas including employee relations, performance management and training and development
Handle employee queries and concerns, ensuring timely and professional resolution
Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation systems
Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives
Coordinate with external partners such as government agencies and third-party service providers on HR-related matters
Contribute to workforce planning and succession planning initiatives
Assist with employee performance evaluations and development conversations
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
5 years of professional experience in a generalist HR role or similar HR function
Comprehensive knowledge of Philippine labor laws, employment regulations and compliance requirements
Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong recruitment and talent acquisition experience, including ability to source, screen and interview candidates
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently whilst collaborating with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of employee relations best practices and conflict resolution techniques
Experience in payroll administration and benefits management is highly desirable
Familiarity with the energy or utility sector is an advantage
Professional HR certification (SHRM, PHRA or equivalent) is preferred
Applicants must be willing to be assigned at the EDSA Balintawak branch and other company branches as needed. Available to work Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
