About the role

BestOption Management Consultants Inc is seeking a full-time HR Coordinator to join our team in Manila City, Metro Manila. This is an integral position that bridges the gap between operational human resources functions and our wider business objectives. As an HR Coordinator, you will provide essential support to our HR department and help ensure the smooth delivery of human resources services across the organisation. This role is crucial in maintaining efficient HR operations and supporting a positive employee experience throughout BestOption Management Consultants Inc.

What you'll be doing

• Processing and maintaining employee records, including recruitment documentation, leave requests, and personnel files

• Supporting the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and assisting with onboarding procedures

• Assisting with the administration of employee benefits, payroll coordination, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies

• Scheduling and arranging meetings, training sessions, and HR-related events

• Providing general administrative support to the HR team and responding to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures

• Maintaining HR databases and systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information

• Assisting with the preparation of HR reports and documentation

• Supporting the planning and coordination of employee engagement activities and company events

• Liaising with external service providers such as recruitment agencies and training organisations

What we’re looking for

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

• Proven experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR management systems

• A solid understanding of HR principles, employment legislation, and best practices in the Philippine context

• A professional and confidential approach to handling sensitive employee information

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels

• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping

• Familiarity with recruitment processes and employee onboarding procedures
