BERGS Holdings in the Philippines seeks an HR Generalist to manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, training, and compliance. You will be the first contact for employee concerns and will maintain precise HR records.
The role requires at least 2 years in HR, a relevant degree, and strong communication, confidentiality, and organizational skills. This position emphasizes integrity and professional handling of sensitive matters.
Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including job posting, candidate sourcing, resume screening, initial interviews, and coordination of hiring requirements.
Facilitate employee onboarding and ensure smooth integration of new hires into the organization.
Monitor and coordinate employee offboarding processes, including exit interviews and clearance procedures.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and workplace matters.
Prepare and maintain employee records, HR files, and employment documentation.
Administer pre-employment assessments and support employee engagement initiatives.
Assist in handling employee concerns, grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace issues while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Maintain and update employee records related to compensation, benefits, employment status, and other HR data.
Process payroll-related documents and coordinate resolution of payroll discrepancies.
Perform payroll and benefits reconciliation, audits, and compliance checks.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee benefits and government-mandated contributions.
Facilitate employee performance management processes, including performance reviews and goal-setting activities.
Support employee learning and development initiatives, including skills enhancement and upskilling programs.
Maintain records of training programs and employee development activities.
Ensure compliance with the Philippine Labor Code and applicable employment regulations.
Ensure employee benefits and company practices adhere to government requirements.
Promote awareness and compliance with company policies, handbooks, and internal memoranda.
Maintain updated and accurate HR records and documentation required for compliance audits.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
At least 2 years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar HR role.
Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws and HR best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and handle sensitive employee matters.
Ability to resolve issues professionally and maintain confidentiality.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment.
Knowledge and experience in HR systems/software is an advantage.
