The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s Human Resources functions, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. The position serves as a strategic HR partner to management and operations while ensuring a positive and productive employee experience.
Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for corporate and operations positions
Coordinate manpower requisitions and ensure timely fulfillment of vacancies
Develop and implement recruitment strategies, including job postings, job fairs, job caravans, local recruitment activities, and school/barangay partnerships
Conduct interviews, assessments, reference checks, and background investigations
Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, hiring rate, and recruitment effectiveness
Ensure proper onboarding and orientation of newly hired employees
Manage employee concerns, grievances, complaints, and workplace issues
Ensure proper implementation of disciplinary procedures and due process
Review and prepare HR documents such as Incident Reports, Notices to Explain, Notices of Administrative Hearing, Notices of Decision, and other disciplinary communications
Conduct or facilitate administrative hearings and employee conferences
Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on employee relations and disciplinary matters
Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of employee cases
Assist managers in establishing KRAs, KPIs, performance standards, and development plans
Monitor employee performance evaluations and ensure timely completion
Identify performance gaps and recommend appropriate coaching, training, or corrective actions
Support succession planning and talent development initiatives
Develop, review, and recommend HR policies, procedures, and guidelines
Ensure compliance with the Labor Code of the Philippines and applicable DOLE regulations
Monitor compliance with statutory requirements and government-mandated policies
Coordinate with management and legal counsel on labor-related concerns and cases when necessary
Maintain accurate and updated personnel records and HR documentation.Compensation, Benefits and Payroll Support
Oversee HR processes related to payroll, timekeeping, attendance, leaves, and employee benefits
Coordinate with payroll and finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
Administer government-mandated benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG
Manage HMO and other company benefits
Address employee concerns regarding compensation and benefits
Develop programs that promote employee engagement, motivation, recognition, and retention
Organize employee activities, recognition programs, company events, and HR initiatives
Monitor employee turnover and identify areas for improvement
Conduct or oversee exit interviews and analyze employee feedback
Identify training and development needs based on business and employee requirements
Coordinate training programs, orientations, and leadership development activities
Ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the HR department
Establish and monitor HR processes, trackers, reports, and documentation
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases/HRIS.
Monitor manpower, attendance, turnover, recruitment, disciplinary cases, and other HR metrics
Prepare regular HR reports and presentations for management
Ensure proper clearance, separation, final pay, and exit processes.
Supervise, coach, and develop HR team members.
Assign workloads and monitor completion of HR activities
Establish team performance targets and KPIs
Conduct regular reviews of HR processes to improve efficiency and productivity
Promote teamwork, accountability, confidentiality, and professionalism within the HR department.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 5-10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with supervisory or managerial experience
Experience in F&B, retail, hospitality, or multi-unit operations is an advantage
Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices
Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Proficient in MS Office and HRIS/payroll systems.
