Job Description
The HR Business Manager is responsible for leading the Company's Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, Payroll, and Accounts Payable functions by developing policies, processes, and operational controls that support organizational goals while ensuring compliance with labor laws, financial regulations, and company standards. The role oversees employee relations, compensation and benefits, financial administration, payroll operations, accounts payable, organizational development, and overall business support services.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Lead and oversee all Human Resources operations to support organizational objectives and workforce effectiveness.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee workforce planning in collaboration with department managers.
- Manage employee onboarding, orientation, performance management, and employee development programs.
- Administer compensation, benefits, leave management, and employee wellness initiatives.
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting employee engagement.
- Advise managers on performance improvement, disciplinary actions, coaching, and policy interpretation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, government regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Lead performance evaluation, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Partner with department managers to identify staffing requirements and approve hiring recommendations.
- Make employment recommendations and oversee hiring decisions in accordance with company policies.
Accounting & Finance
- Oversee the Company's Accounting and Finance operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, sound internal controls, and compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise Accounting and Finance personnel, providing leadership, performance management, and professional development.
- Review financial reports, budgets, cash flow, and operational expenditures for management review.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Monitor financial processes and recommend operational improvements to enhance efficiency and accountability.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies as required.
- Support Executive Management in budgeting, financial planning, and business performance analysis.
Payroll Administration
- Oversee the preparation, review, accuracy, and timely processing of payroll.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, government statutory deductions, employee benefits, and payroll reporting requirements.
- Review payroll records and authorize payroll processing in accordance with company policies.
Accounts Payable
- Supervise the Accounts Payable team and ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments.
- Review payment requests and approvals to ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Monitor vendor accounts and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Ensure proper documentation, reconciliation, and recordkeeping for all Accounts Payable transactions.
Business Operations
- Prepare HR and Finance operational reports and performance metrics for Executive Management.
- Develop and maintain internal controls, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives across HR and Finance functions.
- Manage departmental budgets and oversee HR, Finance, Payroll, and Accounts Payable vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with department managers to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
- Perform other management responsibilities as assigned by Executive Management.
