About the role
The HR Associate plays a key support role within E&R Builders and Management Services, Inc. (ERBMS), a growing Construction Project Management and Quantity Surveying firm. The role is primarily responsible for supporting compensation and benefits, timekeeping, payroll-related activities, employee records, and other personnel-related functions to ensure the accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of HR services. The position also assists in addressing employee concerns, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, and employee separation processes, while coordinating with relevant internal departments and external service providers to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Monitors employee leave availment, leave credits, and related documentation.
- Assists in the administration and monitoring of statutory benefits, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
- Assists employees with statutory benefit and loan-related concerns and coordinates with concerned agencies or service providers as necessary.
- Monitors and verifies SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG payment records and assists in the timely uploading or submission of required information.
- Coordinates with the HMO provider regarding employee enrollment, availment, account concerns, and other HMO-related transactions.
- Manages timekeeping activities, including DTR collection, validation, overtime documentation and routing for approval, and filing of timekeeping records.
- Maintains and updates employees' 201 files and ensures that personnel records are complete, accurate, and properly filed.
- Maintains and monitors the Employee Masterlist, including relevant employee personal and employment information.
- Serves as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, timekeeping, and other personnel concerns.
- Processes employee clearances and coordinates the completion of required separation documents.
About you
- Knowledge of HR administration, compensation and benefits, timekeeping, and basic payroll processes.
- Working knowledge of Philippine statutory benefits and government-mandated employee programs.
- Basic knowledge of employee relations and HR policies and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in handling employee records, timekeeping, and benefits-related information.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace applications, particularly Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with employees at different levels.
