Job summary

Coins.ph is seeking an experienced Business Development leader in the Philippines to drive merchant acquisition and revenue growth for payments. You will identify new market opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and lead negotiations on commercial terms to expand our network.

Expect to build and coach a BD team, collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Legal, and Marketing to onboard merchants and grow enterprise relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships in fintech/payments.
• Strong understanding of the digital payments ecosystem (card acquiring, POS, QR, e-wallets).
• Proven success in leading sales teams and closing strategic deals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall business development strategy for payment services.
• Identify new market opportunities and build a pipeline of merchant clients.
• Establish strategic partnerships with merchants and ecosystem players.
• Lead negotiations on commercial terms including MDRs and SLAs.
• Build and manage a high-performing BD team with clear targets.
