Coins.ph in the Philippines is seeking a senior Business Development leader to drive merchant acquisition and revenue growth in a regulated fintech ecosystem. You will build strategic partnerships, negotiate terms, and lead a growing BD team to expand across markets.

The role requires 8+ years in BD/sales, strong payments knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration with product, operations, legal, and marketing.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in business development, sales or partnerships, preferably fintech/payments/financial services.
• Strong understanding of the digital payments ecosystem (card acquiring, POS, QR, e-wallets).
• Proven success in leading sales teams, closing strategic deals and driving market expansion.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute the overall business development strategy for payment services, focusing on merchant acquisition and revenue growth.
• Identify new market opportunities and build a pipeline of high-potential merchant and enterprise clients.
• Establish strategic partnerships with merchants, payment aggregators, and ecosystem players.
• Lead negotiations on commercial terms, including MDRs and SLAs.
• Build and manage a high-performing BD team, setting targets and coaching to exceed KPIs.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Legal, and Marketing for merchant onboarding and growth.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to refine GTM strategies.
• Represent the company in external meetings, industry events, and partner engagements.
