vamasters, Inc. seeks a Freight Sales Representative to grow our freight brokerage by opening new shipping accounts. You will own the front end of the sales pipeline: building targeted lead lists, cold calling shippers, qualifying needs, and closing new business.

The ideal candidate has outbound sales experience, a confident phone presence, and the ability to turn cold conversations into lasting customer relationships.

Formación

• Proven experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or appointment setting.
• Confident, fluent spoken English with a strong, professional phone presence.
• Working knowledge of Apollo for prospecting and lead list building.
• Ability to handle objections, qualify needs, and move conversations toward a close.
• Comfortable making a high volume of daily outbound calls.
• Organized approach to pipeline and lead tracking.
• Depentable, meticulous, and self-directed in your work.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build and segment targeted prospect and lead lists of shippers using Apollo.
• Make high-volume outbound cold calls to shippers and decision-makers to introduce our brokerage services.
• Qualify prospects by identifying shipping lanes, freight volume, frequency, equipment needs, and current pain points.
• Set appointments and follow-up calls with qualified prospects.
• Work new opportunities through to close and convert qualified shippers into active accounts.
• Coordinate with the owner on all rate quotes and pricing negotiations before presenting them to prospects.
• Send professional follow-up emails, introductions, and recap messages to prospects.
• Keep an accurate, up-to-date prospect and lead tracker with call notes, statuses, and next steps.
• Use the company phone system and email to manage all prospect communication.
