Job summary

vamasters, Inc. is seeking a driven Freight Sales Representative in Cebu, Philippines, to grow the freight brokerage by opening new shipping accounts.

You will own the front end of the sales pipeline—building targeted lead lists, cold calling shippers, qualifying their freight needs, setting appointments, and closing new business. This role requires a strong phone presence and outbound sales experience, turning cold conversations into long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or appointment setting.
• Confident, fluent spoken English with professional phone presence.
• Familiar with Apollo for prospecting and lead list building.
• Ability to handle objections, qualify needs, and steer conversations toward a close.
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily.
• Organized approach to pipeline and lead tracking.
• Reliable, observant, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and segment targeted prospect and lead lists of shippers with Apollo.
• Place high-volume outbound cold calls to shippers and decision-makers.
• Qualify prospects by uncovering shipping lanes, freight volume, frequency, equipment needs, and pain points.
• Set appointments and follow-up calls with qualified prospects.
• Carry opportunities through to close and convert shippers into active accounts.
• Work with the owner on rate quotes and pricing negotiations.
• Send professional follow-up emails, introductions, and recap messages to prospects.
• Keep an accurate prospect and lead tracker with call notes, statuses, and next steps.
• Use the company phone system and email for prospect communication.
