Job summary

PayMongo is seeking a Sales Executive in the Philippines to drive revenue by winning new merchant clients and growing an existing portfolio. You will own both prospecting and the ongoing commercial relationship, balancing short-term gains with long-term merchant success.

You will manage a full sales cycle, coordinate onboarding for new merchants, and work toward revenue targets while delivering exceptional merchant experiences and insights to help PayMongo evolve its products and services.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of client-facing experience in sales, account management, customer success, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of payments, fintech, or a similarly complex domain.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to engage senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Win new merchant business by researching market opportunities and crafting tailored pitches.
• Understand each prospect's needs and develop commercial approaches and proposals.
• Own the new-logo sales cycle from engagement to close and coordinate onboarding.
• Grow and expand existing merchant accounts through relationship management and plans.
• Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and create strategic account plans.
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and drive product adoption.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and track progress against targets.
• Translate commercial priorities into actionable account and pipeline plans.
• Deliver a strong merchant experience with timely communication and issue resolution.
• Balance commercial objectives with long-term merchant retention and success.
