Job summary

FAS Diagnostics Group Inc is seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team in a full-time capacity, based in Paco, Manila City, Metro Manila. You will provide essential support to the finance team, handling day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness of records.

You will be involved in recording transactions, preparing invoices and expenses, assisting with month-end close, and supporting audit preparation.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel, with strong data entry skills.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail in financial records.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join FAS Diagnostics Group Inc in a full-time capacity, based in Paco, Manila City, Metro Manila. This role is fundamental to our financial operations, providing essential support to our finance team in managing day-to-day accounting activities and financial reporting processes. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records, contributing directly to the organisation's financial health and strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

• Recording and processing financial transactions in accounting systems with accuracy and attention to detail
• Preparing and maintaining financial documentation, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports
• Assisting with month-end and year-end close procedures, including reconciliation of accounts
• Supporting the preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner
• Performing bank reconciliations and identifying discrepancies
• Filing and organising financial records to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with retention policies
• Assisting with audit preparation by compiling and organising required documentation
• Supporting the finance team with general administrative tasks and special projects as required

What we're looking for

• A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with strong data entry skills
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail in financial record-keeping
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Reliability and integrity in handling confidential financial information
• Previous experience in a finance or accounting role would be advantageous
• Familiarity with financial accounting and reporting processes in a healthcare or diagnostic services environment is desirable
