About the role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a positive workplace culture, managing employee discipline, ensuring labor law compliance, and seamlessly handling payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare Notices to Explain (NTE), conduct administrative investigations, support hearings, and handle performance management (probationary evaluations, annual appraisals, PIPs)
- Assist with DOLE and NLRC pre-investigations
- Validate daily timekeeping (DTR), process attendance adjustments for payroll, and administer 13th-month pay, merit increases, and allowances
- Manage enrollments and claims for SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, HMO, and company leaves
- Handle government loans, SSS sick leave, and maternity/paternity compliance
- Spearhead employee engagement programs, wellness initiatives, and rewards/recognition schemes
- Support company health and safety programs
- Conduct random HR protocol audits, perform research on emerging labor legislation, and ensure total compliance with local employment standards
About you
- Background in an IT/Fintech Company or similar field
- Bachelor's/College Degree (preferably in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of progressive experience across various HR disciplines (Employee Relations, Labor Laws, Comp & Ben, Performance Management)
- Strong, practical knowledge of local labor laws, regulatory standards, and HR best practices
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Must be fit and willing to work fully onsite (and conduct occasional client site monitoring)
