Westside Resort is seeking a Surveillance Supervisor to lead daily surveillance operations, supervise operators, and ensure proper use of surveillance systems. The role includes coaching, cross-department coordination, and supporting a high-performing security team.

This position requires flexibility to work graveyard shifts, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on accurate documentation and asset protection. Experience in casino surveillance and knowledge of gaming hospitality are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Two years of Casino Surveillance Operator experience.
• License to Exercise Security Profession is preferred.
• Knowledge of gaming and hospitality industry.
• Good verbal, written, and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Coaching and mentoring skills to lead and develop the team.
• Ability to manage multiple surveillance systems and shifting schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assign console duties and conduct shift briefings for efficient deployment and incident response.
• Monitor operator performance and ensure active monitoring of designated areas.
• Provide training when introducing new surveillance systems or processes.
• Verify and close operator reports for completeness and accuracy.
• Verify and secure archived footage for completeness and availability.
• Prepare investigation reports with accurate details.
• Operate surveillance cameras, access systems, casino systems, and POS to identify irregularities and conduct audits.
• Perform facial recognition checks and report issues as needed.
• Monitor alarms and escalate to the responding unit for timely action.
• Coordinate with departments via radio/phone for accurate incident information.
• Report safety, security, and procedural observations for corrective action.
• Drive high performance through evaluations and development of direct reports.
• Coach and mentor team members to support growth and performance.
• Promote employee engagement and commitment to the organisation.
• Comply with the code of conduct, policies, and procedures.
