Job summary

Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. is seeking a Surveillance Officer to safeguard casino integrity and monitor gaming and cash-handling operations.

You will analyze suspicious activities and promptly inform Surveillance Management, while documenting all reviews and incidents in accordance with directives and procedures. The role requires experience with casino systems, strong report-writing skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Casino & Cash Handling experience with ability to detect illegal activities.
• Report writing; familiarity with basic computer applications and Windows OS.
• Knowledge of casino systems and Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard the integrity of casino operations.
• Monitor, identify, and report irregular, suspicious, or unlawful activities to Surveillance Management with initial analysis.
• Document activities, reviews, incidents, and equipment issues per directives and policies.
• Conduct reviews of gaming and cash-handling operations for compliance and integrity.
• Observe gaming and cash-handling areas using IT systems per SOPs (ACSC, Synectics).

Job description

• Safeguard the integrity of casino operations.
• Monitor, identify, and report any irregular, suspicious, or unlawful activities, providing an initial analysis of findings and ensuring that relevant senior team members are promptly informed.
• Report any actual or suspected breaches of law or authorized procedures to Surveillance Management.
• Accurately document all activities, reviews, incidents, procedural violations, disputes, equipment issues, and any other relevant information in accordance with Surveillance Management directives and established policies and procedures.
• Conduct reviews of gaming and cash-handling operations, as requested by other departments or Surveillance Management, to verify compliance with procedures, confirm that no illegal acts have occurred, and ensure the continued integrity of operations.
• Consistently uphold the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Review footage and shared information to confirm accuracy and ensure there are no errors or omissions.
• Verify that all completed reviews meet the level of detail and accuracy
• Observing gaming and cash handling areas using advanced IT systems in accordance with standard operating procedures (ACSC, Synectics, etc).

Requirements

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to adapt to the introduction of new technologies and systems.
