The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, acquiring clients, and expanding the company’s manpower services
portfolio. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding workforce requirements, and promoting the company’s recruitment and staffing solutions to achieve revenue growth and market expansion.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development and Client Acquisition:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for manpower and staffing services.
- Generate leads through networking, field visits, referrals, and online platforms.
- Conduct client presentations and propose manpower solutions tailored to client requirements.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and service requirements.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Proposal and Contract Management:
- Prepare and present service proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Negotiate terms and conditions in coordination with Management.
- Ensure proper documentation and execution of service agreements.
Market Research and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential clients.
- Provide insights and recommendations to Management for business growth strategies.
- Monitor market demand for manpower services across various industries.
Coordination with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with Recruitment and HR teams to ensure timely fulfillment of client manpower requirements.
- Coordinate with Accounting for billing, collections, and contract-related concerns.
- Ensure smooth transition from client acquisition to operations and deployment.
Reporting and Performance Monitoring:
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, client engagements, and revenue targets.
- Track progress against business development targets and KPIs.
- Maintain an updated database of clients and prospects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management, preferably in a manpower, recruitment, or service-oriented company.
- Proven track record in client acquisition and revenue generation.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Willing to conduct fieldwork and client visits.
