Job summary

Security Bank Corporation is seeking a Branch Business Manager in the Metro Manila area. You will oversee branch profitability, drive marketing and sales, and coordinate with internal units to optimize income and control expenditures.

Lead and develop the branch sales team while validating credit decisions within bank guidelines. The role emphasizes strategic market assessment, cross-sell initiatives, and sustained performance monitoring to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the banking industry
• Excellent selling and negotiation skills
• Preferably have an active client portfolio in the assigned location
• Good problem and analytical skills
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Actively seeks new ways of working to improve efficiency and productivity

Responsibilities

• Assist the Area Head in determining the market/business potential of the assigned branch and in the formulation and implementation of strategies for the attainment of targets
• Maintain a proactive and firm business stance about industry competition, market conditions, and other external factors so threats are addressed and strengths and opportunities are maximized
• Manage the branch's overall profitability by growing the business, optimizing income, and rationalizing expenditures
• Establish strong synergy with partner units/groups through active and collaborative undertaking resulting in successful cross-sells
• Monitor and review actual performances versus targets based on MIS reports to determine the percentage of achievement and plan actions with respective team members to close gaps
• Develop the entire branch sales force through coaching, mentoring, strategizing, and monitoring to produce and retain highly competent and results-driven sales talents
• Identify and endorse customers for credit accommodations, waivers, and special approvals while adhering to set bank guidelines
