Job summary

IT Managers, Inc. seeks an experienced Account Manager to nurture key client relationships and oversee IT project engagements. You will coordinate with delivery teams, manage contracts, and drive successful project outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

You will present updates to stakeholders at various levels, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to raise client satisfaction and account performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, CS, business, or related field.
• 5+ years in account management or IT project delivery roles.
• Proven track record delivering IT projects as PM/Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain strong client relationships and key stakeholders.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned accounts and IT engagements.
• Oversee successful IT project delivery with delivery managers and teams.
• Coordinate activities, timelines, risks, and dependencies for project completion.
• Work across Waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Review SOWs, MA, MITA, and other contractual documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to align deliverables with commitments.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, project updates, and business reviews.
• Support issue resolution and escalation while maintaining client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and account performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts and IT project engagements
• Oversee and support the successful delivery of IT projects, working closely with Delivery Managers, Project Managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders
• Coordinate project activities, timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful project completion
• Work across different project delivery frameworks, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Manage and review project and contractual requirements, including Statements of Work (SOW), Master Agreements (MA), MITA, and other relevant contractual documents
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure project deliverables and contractual commitments are aligned
• Prepare and deliver presentations, project updates, and business reviews to stakeholders at various organizational levels
• Support issue resolution and escalation management while maintaining positive client relationships
• Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, client satisfaction, and account performance

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Account Management, IT Project Management, Delivery Management, or a related IT client-facing role
• Proven experience in successfully delivering IT projects as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or equivalent role
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Waterfall and Agile project delivery frameworks
• Experience in Contract Management, including SOW, Master Agreements (MA), MITA, and similar contractual documents
• Strong stakeholder management and client relationship management skills
• Excellent presentation, communication, and written skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders at various organizational levels
• Strong project coordination, organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management
• Experience managing multiple projects, accounts, or client engagements simultaneously is an advantage
