Our client is seeking a passionate senior legal professional to join their established and reputable Business Law team. This role offers work-life balance while handling complex and rewarding work, with opportunities to work closely with partners and clients, mentor junior team members, and contribute to a variety of transactions both in New Zealand and cross-jurisdictionally.

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Managing commercial contracts and providing general advisory work

The team has a steady stream of work and an established client base. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with partners across various sectors and interest areas.

With 3+ years PQE in corporate and/or commercial law at a reputable top or mid-tier firm, you possess excellent technical skills, adaptability, and a solutions-oriented mindset. You should be able to build rapport with clients and deliver practical, professional advice. An interest in mentoring junior lawyers demonstrates a commitment to fostering a supportive team environment. You should be able to think creatively, exercise sound judgment, and work well as part of a team.
