Overview

Tend is invested in the future of GP primary care in Aotearoa. We have a locally developed note-taking tool, Scribe. We are growing in the Bay of Plenty and opening in Papamoa as we integrate our Tauranga clinics. We have a team of multi-disciplinary clinicians working with us across our clinics and we're looking for experienced GPs to join us. Our patients can see our care team online through the Tend app, or in person at a Tend medical centre. You'll be part of our innovative, collaborative, curious and high-performing Team. We aspire to make Aotearoa the healthiest country in the world!

Role and responsibilities

As a General Practitioner at Tend, you’ll be someone who cares about making a difference. You will:

  • Provide high-quality primary care using a holistic and person/whānau centred approach.
  • Promote health and assess, diagnose and form management plans for diverse patient groups both in-person and online.
  • Ensure continuity of care by developing timely plans for referral and follow-up, where appropriate.
  • Provide culturally safe care with patients and whānau.
