An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Specialist Otorhinolaryngologist (ORL Surgeon) to join the expanding ORL team at Bay of Plenty – Hauora a Toi. This 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) role supports service delivery across both Tauranga and Whakatāne Hospitals, serving a wide population across the Bay of Plenty.
As a valued member of the ORL team, you will provide acute and planned care across both adult and paediatric populations. You will also contribute to clinical supervision, support junior medical staff (including one Registrar and one House Officer), and participate equally in the on-call roster.
You will be part of a supportive and growing Otorhinolaryngology team delivering services across the stunning coastal region of the Bay of Plenty. The ORL service is a small but growing team committed to delivering high quality, equitable ENT care. We seek an experienced and qualified ORL Surgeon with a commitment to equity, access, and collaborative care. You will work well across specialties, bring clear clinical judgement to complex cases, and value teamwork as much as technical skill.
