As an Associate Director in their BAS division, you'll take the lead on complex client engagements, support and grow a team of talented accountants, and work closely with the Directors to shape the future of the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a portfolio of clients, delivering end-to-end compliance and advisory services
• Mentor and review work from junior, intermediate, and senior accountants
• Provide strategic insights to clients on tax planning, business structuring, and financial forecasting
• Collaborate with Directors on business development and internal process improvements
• Stay up to date with NZ legislation, technical standards, and best practice
• Contribute to firm-wide leadership initiatives and cultural development

What You’ll Bring:

• 7+ years of experience in a New Zealand public practice environment
• CA qualified (or equivalent) with strong technical BAS knowledge
• A track record of building strong, trusted client relationships
• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and uplift a team
• Commercial acumen and a passion for helping businesses grow
• Experience with cloud-based tools like Xero, CCH, MYOB, and WorkflowMax
