We’re seeking a clinical leader with strong quality and risk management expertise to step into a pivotal hospital-wide role. You’ll oversee quality systems, risk frameworks, and audits while supporting an established team of long-tenured specialists. Your ability to relate across all levels — from theatre managers to the Board — will be key to success.

Your Background
  • NZ Registered Nurse (or other health professional) with current practising certificate
  • Experienced clinical leader with 5–10 years in operational and hospital management
  • Proven leadership in quality, risk, and audit within healthcare (Ideally surgical)
  • Strong interpersonal skills — able to build trust and hold tough conversations
  • Calm, collaborative, and committed to patient-centred care
  • Skilled in quality systems, policy development, and continuous improvement
