The new Statutory and Community Manager role will play a pivotal part in the way management of public conservation land and conservation values in the region are managed. Reporting to the Director, Regional Operations, you’ll lead the region’s work programmes ensuring permissions, regulatory and statutory outcomes are being met. This is a leadership role that blends regulatory expertise with people-centred engagement — perfect for someone who thrives on complexity, collaboration, and conservation impact.

The salary range for this position is $123,000 - $162,500 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory – this includes holding a valid work visa that covers the whole period of employment.
