Job Description

We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity for a passionate Service & Installation Technician based in Auckland. As the Service & Installation Technician you will be diagnosing faults and learning about how our coffee equipment works across our Out of Home (café’s, petrol stations, business centres etc) customers in and around Auckland. You will represent the company not only through your technical skills but also by being an ambassador for who we are and what we do at JDE.

This role will service our entire range of coffee machines, of which there is a lot! So being tech-savvy, with a drive to learn and develop in this role is a must.

Qualifications

To be the best Service & Installation Technician, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Electrical Appliance Serviceperson (EAS) qualified with current Electrical Practicing License is essential
  • Electrical Service Technician (EST) license – is preferred
  • Full clean driver's license
  • Experience in the brewing industry or alternatively in an environment where you worked with for example vending machines, appliances etc.
  • Absolute customer focus as you will be on-site troubleshooting and servicing equipment
  • You're hands-on and you enjoy the social aspect of the role
  • A passion and a hunger to learn the in’s & out’s of coffee - extraction, temperature, grind etc.
  • Valid unrestricted work visa
