Job summary

Nelson Marlborough Health in Blenheim is seeking a Clinical Administration Support for the Wairau site. You will join the Referral Centre team to assist with the administration of external and interdepartmental referrals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

This permanent part-time role is 64 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the successful candidate inputting referrals, acknowledging receipt, updating statuses, and handling enquiries from staff and referrers.

Qualifications

• Proficient typing and MS Office skills.
• Ability to manage a busy workload.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare referrals by acknowledging receipt.
• Input referrals into the patient management system.
• Update referral statuses post triage.
• Field enquiries from staff, clinicians and external referrers.
• Review reporting information to ensure targets are met.
