Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Regional Manager to lead the Joint Replacement business across New Zealand. The role oversees a team of 10 sales professionals and drives commercial growth with a focus on partnerships with surgeons, hospitals, and clinical teams.

Based anywhere in New Zealand with regular travel, you will shape regional strategy, forecast demand, and ensure execution of launches and recalls while maintaining regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' implantable medical device sales experience.
• Minimum 2 years in people leadership or sales management.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, science, healthcare, or related discipline.
• Valid New Zealand driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional revenue growth, profit, and market share targets across the Joint Replacement portfolio.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10 sales professionals (3 Associate Territory Managers and 7 Territory Managers), driving performance against defined sales and capability metrics across New Zealand.
• Execute regional sales strategies aligned to surgeon demand, hospital priorities, and portfolio objectives.
• Build long-term partnerships with orthopaedic surgeons, operating theatre teams, and hospital decision-makers.
• Drive accurate forecasting, territory planning, inventory control, and service coverage across the country.
• Lead professional execution of product launches, portfolio conversions, and recalls.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and procedural trends to inform regional strategy.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems, regulatory standards, and company policies.
