Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Regional Manager to lead the Joint Replacement business across New Zealand. This national leadership role spans commercial growth, partnerships with clinicians, and team performance, with regular travel across the country.

You will oversee 10 sales professionals, including 3 Associate Territory Managers and 7 Territory Managers, driving revenue and market share while ensuring regulatory and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in implantable medical device sales.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a people leadership or sales management role.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, science, healthcare, or a related discipline.
• Valid New Zealand driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional revenue growth, profit, and market share targets for Joint Replacement across New Zealand.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10 sales professionals (ATMs and TMs).
• Execute regional sales strategies aligned to surgeon demand and hospital priorities.
• Build long-term partnerships with orthopaedic surgeons, operating theatre teams, and hospital decision-makers.
• Drive accurate forecasting, territory planning, inventory control, and service coverage.
• Lead product launches, portfolio conversions, and recalls.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and procedural trends.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory standards, and company policies.
