Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Regional Manager to lead our Joint Replacement business across New Zealand. This national leadership role will have accountability for commercial growth, clinical partnerships, and team performance, overseeing a 10-person sales team and regular travel to hospitals and surgeons.

Based anywhere in New Zealand with airport access, you will drive regional strategy, forecast accuracy, and partnerships with orthopedic surgeons and hospital decision-makers, ensuring delivery

Qualifications

• 5+ years of implantable medical device sales experience.
• 2+ years in people leadership or sales management.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, science, healthcare, or related discipline.
• Valid New Zealand driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver regional revenue growth, profit, and market share targets across the Joint Replacement portfolio.
• Lead and develop a team of 10 sales professionals, driving performance against defined metrics.
• Execute regional sales strategies aligned to surgeon demand and hospital priorities.
• Build long-term partnerships with orthopaedic surgeons and hospital decision-makers.
• Drive forecasting, territory planning, inventory control, and service coverage.
• Lead product launches, portfolio conversions, and recalls.
• Monitor competitor activity and inform regional strategy.
• Ensure compliance with quality management and regulatory standards.
