Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Tauranga is seeking a part-time Rental Operations Agent to support front- and back-of-house operations. You will handle rental transactions, contracts and bookings at the counter, while also inspecting vehicles, driving, parking and cleaning as required.

The role offers a 20-hour week, with shift coverage across early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays. A full, clean class 1 driver’s license is essential and training is provided.

• Experience in retail, hospitality or customer service.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to input rental information.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers at the counter and process rentals, contracts and bookings.

This varied role covers both our front and back of house operations. On the counter you will be interacting with our customers, marketing products and services, completing rental transactions, contracts, and bookings.On the other hand, you will be inspecting vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, driving, and parking our cars as well as cleaning vehicles (interior and exterior) in the wash bay so they are ready for our customers.Based at the airport we work Monday to Sunday from 6am to 9pm.
