Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a part-time Rental Operations Agent based at New Plymouth Airport. The role covers front and back of house tasks, including customer interactions, rental transactions, vehicle inspections, and cleaning.

Weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) with 16 hours per week and on-site work from 07:00 to 21:00. Salary is NZD 25.11 per hour with a sales incentive scheme, uniform provided, full training, employee discounts across Avis Budget Group and partners, and wellbeing options including

Qualifications

• Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles.
• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to input rental information.
• Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers on the counter, promote products and services, complete rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and maintenance issues, drive and park vehicles.
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles in the wash bay.
• Provide front and back of house support as a Rental Operations Agent.

Based at New Plymouth Airport, we have a part-time position available for someone who has exceptional customer service skills and isn't afraid of hard work.We work Monday to Sunday from 07:00 until 21.00 pm were we looking to fill a part-time 16-hours per week shift working weekends:Saturday - 8 hours anytime during operating hoursSunday - 8 hours anytime during operating hoursAbout the role:As what we call a Rental Operations Agent you will be involved in all aspects of our business! This varied role covers both our front and back of house operations.
