Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Rental Operations Agent in Blenheim Airport. The role covers front and back-of-house duties, including customer interactions, rental transactions and vehicle maintenance tasks, with full training provided and an emphasis on exceptional service.

The position is part-time (20 hours per week) with an evening shift pattern and a supportive team culture, offering uniform, parking, life insurance and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality or customer service is ideal.
• Ability to learn and use multiple computer systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers at the counter and promote products/services.
• Process rental transactions, contracts and bookings accurately.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and maintenance issues.
• Drive, park and position vehicles as needed.
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles in the wash bay to a ready state.

This varied role covers both our front and back of house operations.
