Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Rental Operations Agent at our Auckland CBD branch. The role involves front and back of house duties, including customer interactions, rental processing, vehicle inspections, driving and cleaning vehicles.

You will work on a 7-day roster from 8 am to 4:30 pm, on a full-time 40-hour week, with training provided. We offer a competitive hourly rate of NZD 25.63 plus incentives, uniform and parking, wellbeing benefits, life and health insurance, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to input rental information.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers at the counter and market products and services.
• Complete rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and maintenance issues; drive and park cars.
• Clean vehicles in the wash bay to be ready for customers.

This varied role covers both our front and back of house operations.
