Avis Budget Group in Wellington is hiring a Rental Operations Agent. This entry-level, casual role involves greeting customers, handling bookings and contracts, and processing rentals at the counter.

You’ll inspect vehicles for damages, assist with cleaning when necessary, and input rental data into computer systems. The position offers training and requires availability across our 8:00–17:30 shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s license is essential.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to input rental information.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers at the counter and interact with them to market products and services, and complete rental transactions, contracts and bookings.
• Inspect vehicles for damages and assist with cleaning of vehicles when needed.
• Input rental information accurately into computer systems and follow procedures.
• Work across 7 days a week within operating hours (8:00–17:30) and be available as required.

This is an entry level position and could be the first step in your career!Casual role working as and when required - perfect for uni studentWellington Airport basedSupportive, friendly, and caring cultureAbout the RoleFrom our customer counter you will greet and interact with customers, market products and services and complete rental transactions, contracts and bookings.To ensure our customers always get the best experience, you will also be required to inspect vehicles for damages and assist with the cleaning of our vehicles from time to time.What we are looking for:Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this rolePrevious experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar rolesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while delivery exceptional customer service.Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information (training will be provided)Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards.We operate 7 days a week, 8 am to 5.30 pm, where you will be required to work as and when required during our operating hours.
