Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from an accredited institution.
• Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in social work.
• Proficiency in case management software and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop tailored support plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling and support services.
• Facilitate referrals to community resources, healthcare services, and educational programs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records.
• Advocate for clients' rights and needs within various systems.
• Develop psycho-educational programs and workshops for community members.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and community leaders for holistic care.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and supervisory sessions.
• Stay informed about legislation, policies and resources affecting social work.
