Job summary

Rambøll in Norway is seeking a Project Manager for Power Systems to lead HV design projects and manage client relationships across a dynamic, multinational team. You will coordinate with technical leads, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication skills, a background in electrical or energy engineering, and fluency in Norwegian and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical/energy/power systems engineering or related field.
• Background in the Energy industry with recent project management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management across countries.
• Experience in client-facing roles delivering value.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Fluent Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• PMI certification is an advantage but not required.
• Commitment to mentoring and supporting colleagues’ growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver HV design and engineering solutions.
• Act as key client interface, safeguarding client interests and building partnerships.
• Oversee tendering, contract negotiations and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate with other business areas for integrated, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage technical and commercial aspects, ensuring schedule and budget alignment.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers across borders.
• Support site activities, follow-up and quality assurance.
