Job summary

Ramboll in Norway seeks a Project Manager in the Power Systems department to lead HV design projects, manage client relations, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across borders. You will drive planning, execution, and delivery while maintaining a focus on technical excellence and sustainable outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a strong PM background in the energy sector, superb communication, and ability to mentor colleagues.

Qualifications

• A degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, power systems engineering, or related field.
• Background from the Energy industry role, with strong, recent experience in a Project Management position.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management; ability to collaborate across countries and disciplines.
• Experience in client-facing roles, with a track record of building trust and delivering value.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with project management tools.
• Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMI) is an advantage, but not required.
• Commitment to mentoring, knowledge sharing, and supporting the professional growth of colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Leading multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality HV design and engineering solutions.
• Acting as a key client interface—ensuring clear scope understanding and building long-term partnerships.
• Overseeing tendering activities, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Coordinating with other business areas to ensure integrated, cost-effective solutions.
• Managing technical and commercial aspects of projects in a dynamic environment, aligned with schedules and budgets.
• Mentoring and developing junior engineers across borders.
• Supporting site and field activities, including follow-up and quality assurance.
