Job summary

Rambøll is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Norway within its Power Systems team. You will lead multidisciplinary projects, collaborate with clients and technical leads, and drive delivery from planning to completion, ensuring high quality, schedule adherence, and strong client relationships.

The role emphasizes leadership, proactive communication, and mentoring across borders, in a fast-paced client-facing environment, with the opportunity for flexible remote work.

Qualifications

• A degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, power systems engineering, or related field.
• Background from the Energy industry role, with strong, recent experience in a Project Management position.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to collaborate across countries and disciplines.
• Experience in client‑facing roles, with a track record of building trust and delivering value.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with project management tools.
• Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMI) is an advantage, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Leading multidisciplinary project teams, including both local and global experts, to deliver high-quality HV design and engineering solutions.
• Acting as a key client interface—ensuring clear scope understanding, safeguarding client interests, and building long‑term partnerships.
• Overseeing tendering activities, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management.
• Coordinating with other business areas to ensure integrated, cost‑effective, and reliable solutions.
• Managing technical and commercial aspects of projects in a dynamic environment, ensuring alignment with schedules and budgets.
• Mentoring and developing junior engineers, fostering collaboration and a positive work environment across borders.
• Supporting site and field activities, including follow-up and quality assurance.
