Job summary

Wakuli in the Netherlands seeks an Area Manager to lead Store Managers across West NL, including Rotterdam, Leiden and Den Haag. You’ll raise the standard, build a scalable operating model and ensure growth as new stores open through 2027.

Your role is hands-on in stores, spending ~90% of time coaching, guiding and supporting your team while delivering consistent results and a strong customer and partner experience across all locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in hospitality or retail, including 3+ years in multi-site management.
• Coaching managers to own their results with clear development plans.
• Strong numerical fluency and ability to read P&L, labour reports and dashboards.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
• Availability of 38 hours/week with travel across the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead Store Managers across West NL, including Rotterdam, Leiden and Den Haag.
• Spend 90% of time in stores coaching, challenging and supporting SMs.
• Develop succession plans and onboard new staff, aligning pay grades and progression.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product to drive campaigns and revenue.
• Open and ramp up new stores while maintaining performance of existing ones.
