Job summary

Wakuli in the Netherlands seeks an Area Manager to lead Store Managers across East NL. You’ll coach multiple stores, drive region performance and scale the store operating model as new locations open through 2027.

You’ll spend most time in stores, guiding leaders, sharing feedback and shaping growth while aligning with campaigns and product initiatives. This role offers clear progression and impactful travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in hospitality or retail, including 3+ years in multi-site management.
• Track record of coaching managers to own their results.
• Confident with numbers: you can read P&L, labour reports and dashboards.
• Strong ownership, structure and service quality.
• Fluency in English (Dutch is a strong plus).
• Availability of 38 hours/week, including weekends when the region needs it.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across your region every week.

Responsibilities

• You lead all Wakuli stores in East NL and the 5 Multi Store Managers who run them, with Team Leads and barista teams behind them.
• Spend 90% of time on the ground in stores coaching, challenging and supporting SMs to improve weekly.
• Lead leadership and team development, performance conversations and succession planning across stores.
• Grow the region by opening new stores and testing playbooks and toolkits for openings.
