Job summary

HEINEKEN is seeking a motivated HR intern to support onboarding and recruitment initiatives from Leiden and Amsterdam, reporting to the Talent Acquisition team.

You will gain hands-on exposure to global HR processes, collaborate with People Operations and Mobility, and help create a welcoming candidate journey.

This full-time internship runs 5–6 months starting February 2027, with hybrid work, a €650 monthly allowance, and 2 vacation days per month plus commuting cost reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Proactive with strong attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic learner who adapts to a dynamic environment.
• Genuine interest in connecting with others and building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Head of Talent Acquisition and TA leads on administration around candidate experience and onboarding.
• Collaborate with People Operations, Mobility, and People Teams to understand how HR functions work in a global organization.
• Support end-to-end onboarding for new intern hires to ensure a smooth start.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas on recruitment and onboarding initiatives.
• Help deliver an exceptional candidate experience as a friendly, professional point of contact.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Assist in planning and coordinating team events to boost engagement.
• Support scheduling interviews with Hiring Managers to keep the recruitment process running smoothly.
