Job summary

Salesforce in the Netherlands seeks a Named Account Executive for Public Sector Netherlands. You own full sales cycle across Local Government accounts from pipeline to close, building trusted advisor relationships with CxOs and procurement leads.

You will collaborate with BDRs, SEs, and partners to tailor solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, Public Sector Solutions, and drive multi-year strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of sales outperformance in Public Sector Netherlands.
• History of net new business sales (direct & indirect) with targets.
• Experience selling enterprise SaaS software.
• Strong understanding of Dutch government procurement and digital transformation agendas.
• Ability to navigate long, consensus-driven buying cycles.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Executive presence and strong communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong commercial mindset.
• Credibility building internal and customer relationships.
• Willingness to contribute to Salesforce Ohana culture.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage Local Government account portfolio across the Netherlands.
• Develop multi-year account strategies aligned to digital transformation priorities.
• Drive new business and expansion revenue across Salesforce platform.
• Build executive-level relationships with CxOs and IT leaders.
• Collaborate with BDRs, SEs, Customer Success, and partners to tailor solutions.
• Lead complex procurement processes including Tender/RFP.
• Accurately forecast pipeline, revenue, and renewals.
• Represent Salesforce at industry events and public sector networks.
• Evangelize Salesforce vision through product demos and events.
• Generate short-term results while maintaining long-term revenue.
